If you’ve been called to work with cacao, you’ve come to the right place.

There are many reasons why a person might be drawn to cacao. I believe our intuition gives us the nudges and the universe delivers.

Cacao is a beautifully grounding and heart opening plant. It’s a superfood. Packed full of vitamins and nutrients with more antioxidants than blueberries and more iron than any other plant source.

My personal belief is that women who are transitioning from the Maiden into the Mother phase will be pulled to use cacao to support their body and soul. Enjoy in a quiet, comfortable place and savour each sip to establish a connection with Mother Earth and allow the vibration of the earth to move through and become part of you.

Cacao is rich and velvety when blended with filtered water or nut milk.

How to prepare your Cacao

Take a deep breath and mindfully place about 1oz or 28g of your raw cacao in your favourite mug. Heat filtered water or nut milk until hot but not boiling and pour over your cacao. While your water or milk is warming, plant your feet. Allowing the connection with the floor beneath you. Slowly bring the awareness up through your body, pulling up the energy of the earth and use this energy and mindfulness as your pour.

You can add a natural sweetener or any spices now if you wish. I like to use a pinch of cinnamon.

Transfer the liquid into a blender and pulse a few times until frothy, then slowly pour back into your mug.

Hold your mug close to your heart and close your eyes. Take a long deep breath in. Notice the aroma of the cacao… notice the warmth of the mug. Mindfully find a comfortable place to rest while you enjoy this grounding, heart opening elixir.
